Welcome to the csoundtekno@bekno mailing list. The purpose of the list is to have a place for like minded csound users to discuss using csound for electronic dance music and mainstream music production, as well as using csound for live performance. This list is not meant to replace the main csound list ( see www.csounds.com ) but is meant rather to be a beginner friendly sub-list where the discussion is principally focused on using csound as a real time midi controlled synthesizer and effects unit, whether by itself or alongside more mainstream production tools and software. We welcome discussion on all forms of electronic dance music, from the underground to the commercial, techno to hip-hop to glitch. Off topic rambling about electronic music, production, gigs, etc, is also encouraged, especially if related in some way to csound. A repository where users can post their csound instruments suitable for techno is also in development, as well as a tutorial page for the same topics. If there are any topics that you would like to see covered, please let us know. Have fun! To post a message to all the list members, send email to csoundtekno@mail.bek.no. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to csoundtekno
Subscribe to csoundtekno by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext.
